Review the hosting, theme/plugin licences, backup responsibility and agreed maintenance term. Renewals and additional technical work must be explicit.
Does a translated page count separately?
Agree the language/page inventory and who supplies translations before quotation. Do not assume translations, variants or extra uploads are included.
Can an existing website be rebuilt without moving email?
First inventory the domain, DNS, hosting, mail provider and required access. A website rebuild does not require email transfer in every case. Agree the DNS changes, redirects, mailbox scope, cutover checks and rollback owner before making changes; mailbox migration is separate unless listed in the proposal.
What counts as a standard payment gateway and shipping setup?
Name the gateway, supported plugin, merchant approval, payment methods, shipping zones and rate rules in the quote. Agree a test order, failed-payment behavior and order status checks. Bespoke checkout logic, carrier integrations, subscriptions, complex rates and provider fees are separate unless expressly included.
