Questions About Zen

Find answers about implementation, pricing, ownership, and ongoing care.

What business problems does Zen solve?

Bring staff access, business records, approvals, and reporting into one enterprise dashboard. We agree the workflows and modules your team needs. Zen is a dashboard product, not a complete ERP.

What does a complete delivery cost?

The Zen dashboard product is RM 8,800. We quote the complete project after reviewing your modules, users, data volumes, integrations, reporting, migration, training, and delivery risks. The dashboard price is not a starting price for a complete system. Each proposal covers that client's requirements.

How fast can it be deployed?

For planning, dashboard configuration may take 1–2 weeks and a complete system with a defined scope may take 6–12 weeks. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. We confirm the schedule after reviewing scope, your inputs, integration risks, availability, and acceptance requirements.

Can Zen integrate with an existing ERP?

Yes, where your ERP provides suitable APIs and data access. We agree which data moves between systems, who owns it, and how conflicts and errors are handled. Your quote specifies the integration and migration work. Full ERP synchronization or replacement is not included by default. Extra functionality requires written approval.

What can I deploy and use permanently?

Your Zen license lets one client use the delivered version permanently in one production deployment, plus non-production testing and backup recovery. It does not allow deployment for another company, resale, or sublicensing. Future major versions, ongoing hosting, support, and security updates are separate.

Who owns the code and data?

Your business data remains yours. After full payment, we provide source code for the delivered version and deployment documentation. Nodesify retains the reusable Zen base. Custom module rights follow your contract, and third-party components retain their own licenses.

What is included in the first year?

Zen with business modules and standard WordPress/WooCommerce packages include first-year hosting and basic maintenance within the agreed scope. They also include agreed training, documentation, and 4 total hours of usage consultation for the year. These are not monthly engineering hours. New features and data work are quoted separately.

What defect warranty applies?

A 90-day defect warranty starts at acceptance and covers defects in the signed delivery scope. New requirements, client modifications, and third-party changes are excluded. Fixes for warranty defects that Nodesify is responsible for do not use your paid support hours.

What happens after the first year?

We provide renewal pricing and handover options 30 days before expiry. If you do not renew hosting, it ends on the date agreed in advance. We agree data retention and deletion dates before service ends rather than applying one retention period to every project. Handover includes agreed deployment documents, your data export, and materials needed for lawful continued operation. We quote migration work separately.

Follow the work

Zen demo screens captured on 9 October 2026. Public demo-account selection and access to the dashboard were verified on 22 October 2026. Example orders, invoices and shipments illustrate modules that can be scoped. This access check does not validate an end-to-end workflow. They are not an included ERP package or a client result.

  1. Record the work

A staff member enters a customer order and its items. Agree which fields are required, where the source data comes from and who owns corrections.

Review point: Customer purchase orders and order dialog

  2. Control the next action

Decide which role may view, change or approve each record. The role screen demonstrates access settings. Any approval sequence must be specified for your implementation.

Review point: Role management and departments

  3. Follow delivery and review

Shipment, invoice, dashboard and audit screens show related operating views. Define the handoff rules and reporting totals before treating them as one accepted end-to-end workflow.

Review point: Shipment management, invoice register and audit log

What the examples mean

Foundation
Reusable application structure and agreed baseline access and administration. Confirm the exact included version in the proposal.
Example modules
Orders, suppliers, shipments, invoices and dashboards demonstrate possible business modules. Select and price the modules your team needs.
Integration work
ERP, accounting, payment and external data connections require field mapping, access, failure handling and separate acceptance criteria.
Operation
Hosting, backups, monitoring, upgrades and ongoing support need a named owner and agreed scope. Permanent use of a delivered version does not include these indefinitely.

Prepare for the next step

  • One real workflow, its owner and the current spreadsheet or system.
  • A sample with personal or confidential data removed, including expected reports.
  • User roles, approval rules, integration access and data cleanup responsibilities.
  • A pilot group and written examples of what a successful handover must do.

Workflow mapping → scope and quotation → configuration and custom work → sample-data review → pilot and acceptance → source, deployment and operating handover. Foundation configuration and a complete system have different timelines.

Questions before you proceed

Is this a complete ERP for the foundation price?

No. The foundation is the starting point. Modules, integration, cleanup, imports and reporting depend on your workflow. A proposal for another project does not establish a universal complete-system price.

What can I inspect before committing?

Open the Zen demonstration at zen.nodesify.com/login. Use the public “Quick Select Account” control to choose a demo account, then use Login to enter the demonstration. Public account selection and dashboard access were verified on 22 October 2026. Do not enter confidential business data into a demonstration.

Can it sit alongside an existing ERP?

Yes, where the required interfaces and permissions are available and included in scope. Agree which system owns each field, how duplicates and failed syncs are handled, and who checks reconciliation.

What happens to my data during migration?

Agree the import format, cleanup owner, trial import, reconciliation and cutover or rollback plan. A successful demo does not verify your production migration.

Can another maintainer take over?

The delivered, fully paid source may be used for your own business under the licence. The reusable base remains Nodesify intellectual property. Confirm credentials, documentation, backup access and third-party licences during handover.

What does acceptance cover?

The agreed workflows, roles, reports and integration cases. Record defects separately from new requests, name the approving person and agree the support boundary before launch.
