The detailed guidance and illustrative examples below are in English. All example business records are fictional.
Make the delivery decision concrete
A full-service agency may combine brand, campaign and website work. Nodesify focuses on engineering scope. Either arrangement needs named decision makers and a clear boundary between creative approval and system behaviour.
Compare the two briefs
Fictional business: a home-services company wants a new campaign and an internal booking system. These are related projects with different acceptance criteria.
| Decision | Campaign / public-site brief | Business-system brief |
|---|---|---|
| Primary outcome | An approved brand message, campaign pages and content. | Staff can schedule, assign and close a booking correctly. |
| Typical specialist input | Brand strategy, copy, art direction, photography and campaign management. | Workflow rules, permissions, data model, integrations and recovery. |
| Buyer inputs | Audience, claims approval, brand assets and content owner. | Booking examples, roles, calendars, exception rules and operating owner. |
| Acceptance | Approved creative, content accuracy, responsive presentation and working enquiry journey. | Correct role access, availability handling, notifications and reconciled booking records. |
| Ongoing owner | Campaign/content owner and the agreed publishing partner. | System owner and the agreed maintenance provider. |
Worked fictional shared-ownership plan
The existing agency owns campaign strategy, copy and visual approval. The business owner approves claims and booking rules. An engineering provider owns the agreed booking API and integration. Before build, both providers agree field names, error states, tracking definitions and who publishes each release.
| Handoff | Ready evidence |
|---|---|
| Design to engineering | Approved responsive states, accessible labels, validation messages and asset rights. |
| Engineering to agency | API contract, sandbox, loading/error behaviour and publishing constraints. |
| Joint release | Named release owner, final content approval, end-to-end enquiry check and recovery plan. |
| After launch | Separate content/campaign requests from software defects and new workflow scope. |
Two viable choices and the trade-off
One agency can coordinate the whole fictional project if its named team can evidence both creative and application delivery. Keeping the existing agency with a separately scoped engineering provider is also viable, but adds a shared specification and release dependency. Compare who will actually do each activity and how decisions cross that boundary. No general agency cost premium is assumed.
Can Nodesify work with my existing agency?
That can be scoped after confirming responsibilities, access, acceptance and availability. Bring the agency’s brief and technical contact. Agree who owns design, content, API behaviour, deployment and support before either provider commits.
Next step: bring one defined workflow, your internal review capacity and the missing evidence. Agree a review or delivery scope before choosing a provider.
