Mobile App Development

Custom Mobile App Development

Give customers and staff an app built around their daily tasks. We plan your iOS or Android features, integrations, and release with a clear scope and budget. We confirm specialist availability before scheduling the work.

Sample scope in English

Decide whether the workflow needs an app

A mobile browser cannot meet the agreed offline, device, notification or distribution requirement. Specialist availability is confirmed before commitment.

Start with a responsive website when browser access is sufficient. Consider a PWA or cross-platform build before committing to platform-specific work.Compare the options

What you receive

  • Chosen platform approach and scoped user journeys.
  • Agreed device, network, notification and backend behavior.
  • Release and account responsibilities with acceptance and handover checks.

What to prepare

  • Target devices/users, offline rules and required device APIs.
  • Distribution route, store-account owner and access to required APIs.
  • Privacy/content owner and the person who accepts the release.

Agreed separately

  • Store approval is controlled by the platform, not guaranteed by a development quote.
  • Store fees, hosting, messaging, paid APIs and ongoing release maintenance.
  • Additional platforms, offline conflict rules and new device integrations outside scope.

Illustrative field request: a worker creates a draft offline, sees its unsent status, reconnects, and receives a clear confirmed or rejected result. Agree duplication and conflict behavior before implementation.

Acceptance example. Repeat the journey on the agreed devices with a lost connection and retry. Confirm that the agreed record and visible status match, without assuming every offline conflict can be resolved automatically.

Do I need separate iOS and Android apps?

Decide from device requirements, distribution, update needs and supported capabilities. Confirm the appropriate specialist before promising a platform-specific solution.

What continues after launch?

Record who owns store accounts, certificates, platform updates, backend services, monitoring and incident handling. These carry ongoing responsibilities and costs.

Does an app quote include the backend and integrations?

Only when the proposal lists them. Identify existing APIs, authentication, data ownership, hosting and administrator tools. Separate new backend work, API changes, migration and ongoing hosting costs from the app interface so an unavailable endpoint does not become a hidden dependency.

How are payments scoped?

Describe what is sold, where buyers are located and the intended distribution route. Confirm applicable store and provider requirements, merchant eligibility and account ownership before choosing an approach. List checkout, refunds, payment status and reconciliation checks; approval and transaction fees are not development guarantees.

Can another developer take over the app?

Agree source and dependency licences, repository access, build instructions, signing credentials, store accounts, backend access and release documentation. Plan a handover review with the receiving developer. Account transfers, missing rights, platform restrictions and takeover work require their own checks and agreed scope.

Trade-off

Decisions to Make First

Your platforms, integrations, and release requirements shape the build.

01

Unclear First Release

Separate essential journeys from later features so the first version solves a complete, useful problem.

02

Hidden Operating Costs

Include backend hosting, paid services, store accounts, and ongoing updates when comparing the budget.

Operating model

A Defined Delivery Plan

Agree the work and the people responsible before development starts.

  • Named technical contact, confirmed specialist capacity, and review milestones.
  • Source access, ownership, licenses, and handover responsibilities recorded in the contract.

Core Capabilities

Cross-Platform Apps

Share code across iOS and Android where it suits your requirements. Native features and device coverage are assessed for each project.

Business Apps & Access Controls

Connect your app to business APIs and design authentication, permissions, and data handling around its users.

Field Operations

Help field staff capture photos, use location services, or scan items. We define the hardware access and offline behavior each workflow needs.

Mobile Technology Choices

Select frameworks and services for your devices, integrations, and support needs.

Core Mobile Stack

The Hub Standards
React Native

Shared application code for iOS and Android.

Flutter

Cross-platform interfaces built with customizable widgets.

Swift

Native iOS development with access to supported Apple platform APIs.

Kotlin

Native Android development for platform-specific features and interfaces.

Spring Boot (Java)

Business logic and APIs for your app backend.

Node.js

Event-driven, real-time data syncing and push notification backends.

Infrastructure & Services

Network Specialists
PostgreSQL

Reliable relational data with strong consistency guarantees.

MongoDB

Flexible document storage for rapidly evolving app schemas.

Firebase

Services for real-time data, authentication, and push notifications.

AWS / Docker

Cloud infrastructure and container-based deployment.

Stripe

Payment processing for supported app purchase flows.

Google Maps API

Location services, geofencing, and real-time routing for field operations.

Process

Our Development Process

Review the core journeys, design the app, build the agreed scope, and prepare it for platform submission.

01

Blueprint & Architecture

Map user journeys, data, and API access. Agree expected workloads, performance requirements, and the first release before choosing the architecture.

  • Technical Architecture Document & Wireframes
02

UI/UX Design

Review an interactive design for the main journeys, accessibility, and device sizes before implementation.

  • Interactive Figma Prototype
03

Build & Review

Confirmed specialists build the agreed app and backend. Review working features at the milestones in your proposal.

04

Quality Assurance & Security Scan

Verify agreed journeys, supported devices, and access controls before release.

05

App Store Deployment

Prepare the agreed submissions and account handover. Apple and Google control approval and review timing.

Engagement Models

Engagement Models

We quote mobile projects and ongoing engineering individually. Your proposal defines the scope and confirms specialist availability.

MVP

Minimum Viable Product Launch

Best for: Startups and enterprises validating a new digital product.

Custom quoteProject-basedTypical Timeline: Schedule agreed after review

Launch a focused first version for iOS and Android with core workflows, user authentication, and backend API integration.

  • Shared iOS and Android codebase
  • Core workflows and user authentication
  • Backend API integration

Technical Roadmap & Architecture Audit

Clarify API constraints and delivery risks before committing to a build.

Review technical risks before funding the build. The Architecture Audit examines system design and integrations. A clickable prototype reviews screens and workflows. A free Strategy Session helps you choose the right next step.

  • Agreed system boundaries and API flow mapping
  • Data model and expected workload assumptions
  • Third-party integration constraints
  • Phased scope and delivery estimate
  • Technology options and tradeoffs
$900Any agreed discovery credit counts once within the complete project total and against the first milestone. Your proposal defines the scope and credit terms.

Keep Your App Supported

Operating systems and dependencies change. Plan the updates, monitoring, and incident support your app needs after launch.

Define Your Support Coverage

  1. OS Compatibility Updates
  2. Library Security Patches
  3. Server Monitoring
  4. Crash Analytics

OS Compatibility Updates

Review compatibility with supported iOS and Android versions. Schedule update work within the agreed support scope.

Library Security Patches

Review dependency advisories and apply approved patches within the agreed maintenance scope.

Server Monitoring

Automated checks help identify availability issues. Monitoring does not imply staffed 24/7 incident response.

Crash Analytics

Configure crash reporting and agree how incidents are reviewed, prioritized, and resolved.

Key Benefits

Cross-Platform Efficiency

Reuse code across platforms where appropriate, with platform-specific work scoped explicitly.

Clear Release Responsibilities

Know who owns store accounts, prepares submissions, and handles review feedback. Apple and Google control platform approval.

Security for Your Workflows

Choose authentication, storage, and API controls for your app's data and access needs.

Offline-First Capabilities

Plan local storage, synchronization, and conflict handling for workflows that must work with limited connectivity.
