Senior Frontend Engineer (Astro/React)

About the role

You will build enterprise-grade web interfaces for Malaysian and regional clients — marketing sites, customer portals, and internal business systems — held to a senior craft bar. You own your workstream end to end: architecture, implementation, review, and launch.

What you will do

• Build high-performance interfaces with Astro, Next.js, and React, shipping statically-generated and server-rendered pages with excellent Core Web Vitals.
• Implement accessible, responsive UI with Tailwind CSS and a shared design system.
• Integrate headless CMS platforms (Payload CMS) and third-party APIs (Stripe, payment gateways, CRM systems).
• Review code and uphold quality standards across the squad.

What we look for

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with React (or an equivalent modern framework).
• Production experience with TypeScript, modern CSS, and performance budgets.
• Comfortable owning delivery directly with clients — no account-manager layer.
• Bonus: Astro experience, SEO implementation experience, e-commerce builds.
